Non-Profit Organization "PADĖK UŽAUGTI" (Help me to grow) - families of disabled children with special needs organization in LITHUANIA.

    A disabled child with special needs is firstly a child, who shall be prepared every day for a full-fledged life in our society.The common life of the families, growing a disabled child, differs from usual families‘ life. They come across with challenges and difficulties, when they try to assure proper and versatile training and establish full-fledged and safe environment for the children, enabling them to develop and learn new or fix available skills. The biggest difficulty of such families is mostly their financial situation.

Education system of our country does not assure a possibility for disabled children, i.e. children with special needs, to acquire full-fledged, versatile preschool training, adequate to individual needs of such children. Certainly, the main problem, named by state officers is insufficient financing.

Understanding the importance of proper training for our children‘s lives and seeking to assure the right of our children to RECOVER, GROW and DEVELOP, we decided to unite our abilities to seek mutual aim and help families of similar fate.

Vision:

Public enterprise „Padėk užaugti“ is a community of families, growing disabled children with special needs, which actively cooperates with other non-governmental organizations, municipal institutions and specialists of various fields, which try to provide necessary assistance for the families of the community and identify the most effective and modern training and health therapies and programmes, satisfying special needs of disabled children and assuring their availability for every family of the community.

Aims:

To search for full-fledged assistance and promotion for the families, growing disabled children with special needs and assure the continuation of this assistance-promotion.
To collect information about effective training and health therapies and programmes, dedicated for work with disabled children with special needs in Lithuania and other countries.
To assure financial availability of all training and health therapies and programmes, necessary for children’s training and health, for every family of our community.
To establish a multifunctional centre not only for a daily, evening, but as well as for weekend full-fledged and complete occupation of such children, involving their families.

With the establishment of such a centre a special assistance would be organized, financial expenses for families, growing disabled children with special needs would be reduced. The process of training would become more consistent and effective.
